Timings of the School Day

The timings of the school day are as follows:

Foundation Stage 7:50 AM to 1:30 PM

Primary Years 7:50 AM to 2:40 PM

Note that Alpha’s Enrichment and Extension Programme offers optional after-school activities Monday and Wednesday from 2:45 PM to 3:30 PM.

7:40 AM - 7:50 AM	Students arrive at school
7:50 AM - 8:00 AM	Registration - Students move to classrooms/Registration/TutorTime/Whole School Assembly
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM	Class time for all students
10:00 Am - 10:20 AM	Snacks/Breaktime
10:20 AM - 12:20 PM	Class time for all students
12:20 PM - 1:20 PM Sunday to Wednesday (No lunch thursday due to early finish)	Lunch and Play
1:00 PM	Dismissal for FS1 and FS2
1:20 PM - 2:40 PM (Sunday to Wednesday) 10:40 AM - 1:20 PM (Thursday)	Class time for years 1-6
2:40 PM (Sunday to Wednesday) 1:20 PM (Thursday)	Dismissal for years 1-6
2:45 PM - 3:30 PM Monday & Wednesday	Extra-Curricular Activities (Enrichment & Extension Programme)

Sunday 13th August	First day of induction for academic staff
Tuesday 5th September	Meet the teacher day Y1 to Y6
Tuesday 6th September	First day of school for Y1 to Y6
Tuesday 12th September	Meet the teacher day for FS1 and FS2
Wednesday 13th - Thursday 14th September	FS1 students phased introduction to school
Sunday 29th October - Thursday 2nd November	Mid Term Break
Thursday 14th December	Last Day of Term One
Sunday 17 December - Thursday 4th January	Winter Break

Sunday 7th January	First Day of Term Two all students
Wednesday 31st January	Sports Day
Sunday 11th - Thursday 15th February	Mid Term Break
Wednesday 14th - Thursday 15th February	Professional Development Teachers only
Thursday 22nd March	Last Day of Term Two
